A retired management executive with over 40 years of experience in the computer field and a distinguished record in the areas of software development, management, sales management, sales, marketing, data processing, office automation, sales support, project management and data communications networking.
He has held a variety of demanding, challenging positions with four multinational corporations: Aluminum Company of America (ALCOA), Wang Laboratories, Digital Equipment Corp. (DEC), and Remaco Software Inc. In 1990, he formed RARE and Associates, a software marketing company marketing to universities and colleges in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and South America. In 1993, RARE and Associates became a division of Tutorials Group Inc. He is co-author of "Perfect Copy Biology" and the principal programmer and co-designer of "MathPrep for Biology".
He studied at Carnegie-Mellon University and the University of Chicago. He has taught
many courses and seminars in the areas of Computer Science, Networking and
Management for the American Management Association, Alcoa, Wang Labs and
Digital Equipment.
